noooo gera. hahaha. i LOVE TO SAY spongeboob. but hes not my favourite. aww. my favourites are PATRICK AND SQUIDWARD. (: cant decide who. wahhaha. or maybe the crabby patty (as in the food *drool* can be my favourite "character". HAHHA. i wanna eat crabby patty oh one fine day. XD
and i forgot how to sing that funny spongebob movie umm the peanut thing song. ): aww sad. haha. well im sponge while nat and miffy are BO-OB. hahahaha. and zes suggested the name spongeboobsquarebra. HAHA.

soooo sad. shusi isn't able to go to our concert!!BOOhoo. =( As you know...she is pretty supportive of us cos she asks how we are doing in CO, and she gave us those lil notes before SYF. all that though she isn't in CO anymoreand though hls daos her. REALLY!!awww....she really wished she could go lah...anyway, I am listening to the radio now...heard that zhou1 chuan2 xiong2 has a new song called xing1 kong1 xia4. awww.....we won't we playing xk for concert. WE LOVE IT!!! =\ nevermind.
Spongebob squarepants!!! haha. Shi Ting likes spongebob, yihui likes patrick, I like gary!! =) gary's the smartest creature in bikini bottom while patrick's the dumbest. really!!oops. forgot to say margaret likes squidward she imitated his talking that day(heh. forgot to say). *laughs like spongebob* I know!! ys likes spongebo-ob. right??? *laughs like spongebob again*

hello. almost forgot the pswd. x( dazu yesterday wasn't very good. but nevermind because margaret came later. phew. i've never felt so -eek- before. sizzo. anyway... margaret's becoming alil uh... crazy recently. i made a discovery!!!! She watches spongebob squarepants!!!! xP Maybe she was influenced by spongebob and patrick and squidward and their friends. haha. =) Hope cheryl will come back soon...otherwise the junior-senior ratio won't be balanced. xP

hi. long time no blog. didn't miss us...did you??haha. anyway, perhaps you all should have received the spread-everywhere MPs for jun ma ben chi and hong lou meng. I thought jun ma ben chi was super nice especially the front part. it sounded so mysterious. xD --borrowed from yiusum. hah.
But it is hard to play. oh dear. I think I might get scolded!! =( diedie. I just need more time.... hls is a bit too demanding...we are only 14 years old....we only have 1 year and 5 months of experience...bahh.
Hong lou meng. Yiusum I finally understood why you love it so much. I didn't pay attention when i heard it for the first time. half studying and cheonging my french. there's an exam tomorrow(as in, today. I heard it only yesterday.) Yupp. It is so...touching? Is that the word? It feels nicee. =) And it is a bit easier to play, basically we only play a grand total of 10 bars. And some bars are repeated. But I need to count the beats carefully. 'cos I am too interested in the main tune so I get distracted easily, I guess. Or maybe it was because I was all frustrated that day so i couldn't concentrate. Never mind. if I get too frustrated I have prepared a piece of paper in my bag so i can tear it when mad. haha. eek.
haven't practiced yet. And there's lotsa homework so after blogging I shall do my hamework then practise. HOPEFULLY. there's 99% chance I will do it. but that 1 %....

And the day finally arrived...for SYF.
And so we got gold...for SYF.
Gera's first-hand acount:
At 10am, after zhang lao shi(chinese cher) left, we changed into our costumes and stuff and put on the stockings IN CLASS *recess lah*, which ys said looked weird cos it isn't exactly skin colour. By the way, coincidentally, all of us bought the same brand of stockings!! But the stockings had different endings.haha.You will find out later. Being our first SYF, we were naturally excited and nervous*SOMEbody was over-excited*. Yup. After bidding farewell*ahem ahem.* to our classmates, at least those who were in class like audrey,huihui, sipei, yinqi, jiayue etc. We headed down to the ks chee theatre, after having a hard time going down the stairs. In case I fell down, I gripped the railing tightly. Finally, we arrived at the KS Chee theatre. Quite a lot of ppl were already there... Anyway, at -dunno what time-, we started practising after he lao shi helped us tiao yin. I think we suddenly improved a lot! But I can feel the emotionless as well...I think ys could feel it too. After practising twice, we did not practice anymore. We went for lunch at around 12.45pm. Before that, we waited outside the hall to catch some of our classmates (assembly lah.) Yupp, they wished us good luck and si pei passed ys her homework. Then me and Huiwen ordered food from stall nine and the uncle asked "Why you all dress up so pretty today?"*??* We sat together with pipa-ers *or pipa-ists?* and Cheryl... Now Cheryl isn't on diet, but Jingxuan is. *nono. diet not good for health. You know I have this p6 friend who landed in hospital for 2 whole months because someone she was fat and she decided to go on a diet. Then she got some illness start with "B" one...the one where you vomit whatever you have eaten...Can't recall.*
And they talked about gay teachers and other sick stuff.* I am totally innocent.*
We went to toilet to make our hair neater and lanya + yiusum bought a packet of clips which they shared. YiuSum got a "pin-head ==> head full of pins and clips". She said it herself. I think she can challenge yi hui, whose record is 8 clips on her hair. I bet ys has more. Ok, after lunch, we went back and chatted. oops forgot to mention some seniors gave candies to us. Cheryl, not liking sweets and chocs gave them to the 2 of us...
After that, we finally waited in the foyer but our bus was not here yeT!! I was sweating profusely and some 204-ers( heh. we caught miffy, sipei, audrey, yiyun) came over and we chatted and stuff. Bahh. Yi Yun said "hope you get bronze" and we were mad. Audrey chatted with Lanya and pipa-ers. We hanged around the foyer for a long time... Sipei gave ys a gentle budge and said" eh. Gold with honours arh." We passed that down. hehe. Unfortunately, we had to make do with a gold. We found out the English test was postponed...so was science formative...=(
Yay! The bus arrived. The lil passageway was packed with zhongruans and pipas that when we reached we could not get out*shall elaborate later* Anyway, people were laughing and chatting and NOBODY was sleeping, as wang lao shi instructed. heez. I was bored sitting alone so I smed shusi, she asked how are we feeling. huiwen and ys were so bo liao to take a mms photo of how I sat(won't elaborate =P) Ok, we reached Singapore Conference Hall shortly. I tell you it was so damn hard to get down lah. I couldnt move at all because of the zhongruans blocking the way, so guess what? I opened my legs and stood at the 2 sides of the passageway and walked slowly down!!Yay!! *pats myself*
Wow. You can feel the tension at SCH. Erhus and dizis and shengs and yangqins. All kinds of sounds from all kinds of instruments. Teachers were rushing around to help us tiao yin. We dumped our stuff at the foyer of SCH. ha. I think the lady who is supposed to get us upstairs was very frustrated because we took a long time to get up and assemble and people were happily chatting away. Also, we bumped into each other's liuqin and margaret's and the bei4 yong4 one went out of tune. he lao shi helped us tiao yin. In the end, we still went up. Luckily I did not meet my enemy(from dhs). I took off my court shoes and so did Cheryl then huang lao shi(teacher i/c) said we shouldn't be doing this because it isn't very lady-like, afterall we are from a "prestigious" school, very "bu4 hao3 kan4". Oh ya...forgot to mention huiwen's stocking split at the calf there and ys's even worse, the second half is half-detached from the top. Is it due to their un-ladylike behaviour when they sit? Like the way they put their right leg on their left thigh...hmm...we also sat down to prac for a while on the cold floors of SCH. It is cold and comfortable. I like it. But with a skirt, it is hard to sit down on the floor to prac. In the end we gave up. Yu lao shi(jingxuan's and qianwen's pipa cher came over to help them tiao yin, we also saw her tuning lq and zhong/da ruan and of course pipa for zhong hua sec co. We both thought she was stylo. And looks pro(has to be. Since she is in SCO.There's a big pic of her on one of the walls showing SCO members) . And huang lao shi said all the ladies in SCo are pretty so we should be like them too, put on nice make-up and behave in a lady like manner. haha .We also saw the renowned Xu lao Shi, huiwen's shifu.haha. The Xu3 pai4 one.(The XU sect. Zhao meng is one of them. ) We both thought she is Chi-na, from her white costume. But she looks like another pro player. Heard from huiwen she can play lots of instuments, yangqin, liuqin, suona etc. Other schools also arrived. Zhonghua had this blue very (to me) very-too-traditional kind of costume. and the blue does not look very nice...*no wait. I didn't say anything. hahaha*
There is this tuning room where we can only stay for 15min for tuning but wang lao shi wanted to "guo4 yi1 bian4" the two songs we are performing. he lao shi helped us tiao yin again. due to the lack of time, we could only practise some parts. We were extremely anxious when the dizi solo was not zhun, as in yin zhun. I mean, it's already the final moment before our turn and such a thing happened, obviously we will feel a bit worried. Luckily it turned out ok after a few tries. While waiting for our turn, ys found this bench to sit. smartie. I so love the bian1 zhong1. I saw wang lao shi sleeping at the table there...sigh. Very soon it was our turn.
Ys was walking first for our sect. She reminded me to tilt my chair slightly to face the conductor. When we settled down, cheryl gave me a nod, as if to ask if we are fine. I gave her a slight smile...then, after putting the bei4 yong4 ( reserve qin) liuqin down, huimin stood up and indicated for us to tiao yin. A lady announced our school's name, songs we will be playing, wang lao shi's name and we stood up to like show respect/welcome her. After she bowed, we sat down and she stood still, waiting for us to get ready etc. Then she sort-of looked at everyone, gave a lil nod, put her hands up(into conducting position) , smiled and down her hands went and we breathed with her for a count and started xing kong.....lah soh lah fah.....
#ys said xing kong a bit dead, like emotionless, nobody sitting opposite her was moving....# I sort of agree with her, but the music was really good, like the erhus remembered to go softer at 41.
After xing kong, it was man jiang hong, our zi4 xuan3 qu3 mu4. The actions from wang lao shi standing still was repeated and she also nodded at Gillian, but she did not smile. When her hands came down, we probaby gave the audience a jump with the loud boom. Somehow, man jiang seemed to go so fast. Luckily I didn't make any error. Too bad we were unable to play the kuai ban 1 part...And I didn't make any mistake at the ending part, 295!! I think we started to get emotional only at man jiang hong...by the way, did we gan3 pai1? Overall, it was really good(the music), but maybe we were just unable to move the judges to earn a gold with honours...But we both feel we did our best, and getting gold though 80% of the orchestra is made up of Sec 2s...
Later, we couldn't get to watch the real version of zhong hua's performance, could only watch on tv outside, but we caught the last 2 schools' performance. And we did not catch Dunman High's one....eeko, what a waste. The Holy Innocent's one was alright. I think they purposely dragged at the dizi part for xing kong, but it sounds weird when they did that. Their dizi is so not zhun. Another school...I think is Woodgrove had some "exotic" instuments too, like that egg-like thing and the percussion instrument that huiwen said was for band. I think their songs were easy. Ys thought the woodgrove liuqin-er's actions were disguesting. Like too eeky. But they rou2 xian2. How on earth did they do that?
Oh. There was this funny announcement on "Which school lost a pipa?" And it was ours!!haha. The pipa-ers left it on stage. It was the extra one. So qianwen went up to collect but the SAF officer did not want to give it to her so she tried to take it from him. And it was a mini tug of war.
Before announcing they results, they got this sir(be more polite) from Beijing (some music director) to "shuo1 ji3 ju4 hua4"but it turned out to be chunks of paragraphs. We were getting impatient...wished we could fast forward everything. Finally...The results, according to performing order. Huiwen, me and ys grabbed each other's hand. Huiwen's hand was so cold!
"Dunman High School, gold with honours. RAFFLES GIRLS' SCHOOL, GOLD" And some started crying...We let go of each other's hands. I think we were expecting a second part to it --the with honours, but it never came and oh well. Melissa cried too. Aww... I just feel it sort of disappointed our Sec4 and Sec3 seniors, after all, we should do them proud, or earn a gold with honours to put a nice ending to their CO life in RGS...
We had 3 cheers for RGCO!!
Then we went downstairs to the foyer. Spotted my mom. She said she could hear people screaming and cheering upstairs. wow. Shi Ting Yihui and Melissa went to say hi to my mom but she didn't expected it. She said something regarding them saying hi, to me afterwards, when we were on the MRT train home. It was so funny. Shan't put it here though. xP We took train back from Tanjong Pagar(that's where SCH is) to Raffles Place, then we went up the escalator to take the train to Marina Bay cos there it will have seats. Quite a long journey home,that's why. and went to eat McDonalds. Can't drink cold drinks cos of cough. booHOO.

AH.
YES I AM BLOGGING HERE NOW. wahahahhahaha. XD you think my memory so bad. always cant remember pswrd. XD i dont usually blog bcos i dont like to la. but today i am in blogging mood.

YES SYF IS COMING SOON.
and i feel really excited. XD afterall we are leaving classroom at 10. plus we are wearing our costumes. XD AND I THINK WE HAVE SOME CHANCE TO GET GOLD! hopefully gold with honours. : D
i find that we are really improving! as an orchestra, as well as an individual. : D
i dunno why. but now i find myself getting more passionate about co. : D and kinda looking forward to thurs prac. : D whee. i dunno if thats a gd thing either.. as in helaoshi letting us skip it. but we MUST GAMBATTE. i am sure one day we can manage it.
we shall prac more together!
and MONDAY remember we must borrow my blazers.
and MY STOCKINGS. eek. DIE. DEAD.
i havent buy them yet.
shall buy them bfor friday. LOL.

and gambatte with yr busy week 5 schedule too. : D

whee...long time no blog. summy forgot pswd again isit? anyway, hz tells us not to play the fast parts so we dun play the fast parts. Is that a good thing or a bad thing. so for today.... it was ok, only for the last mjh that we played, I was half asleep and so was summ. So when we did not have to play, which are all the rather hypnotising parts...I slept. Sooo tired!! xP Oh well.Then we had to play with the dizi... once wgy said "yi ge yi ge lai", then we freaked out. Luckily she meant the dizi. phew. Forgot to mention that when she arrived, I was borrowing the tiao yin qi from summ and she came past and used her palm to cover summ's forehead and rocked her back and forth. hahahahaha. ok fine. The same thing happened to me =P. She asked us " yao4 dong4 zhi1 dao4 ma1?" hahahaha. Everytime during breaks I forgot to drink my water. Gahh. Cos I wanted to visit my friends over at the huuz section. Then when I go visiting, I forgot that I was thirsty till I came back. eeko.
